Abstract
The study assessed Information and Communication Technology (ICT) facilities in teaching and learning of electrical installation and maintenance works in government technical colleges of Yobe State. Four research questions guided the study, and a descriptive survey research design was adopted. Four technical colleges were purposively selected for the study, and 44 respondents from these four technical colleges were used. Four principals and 40 teachers the four selected technical colleges constituted the sample for the study. A 47 item Assessment of ICT Facilities in Electrical Installation and Maintenance Works (AICTFEIMW) Questionnaire was used to generate data for the study. Data obtained through the instruments were subjected to Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) on Mean and Standard Deviation for answering of the research questions. Data analysis revealed that ICT facilities for teaching electrical installation and maintenance works in the government technical colleges were available, functional, and frequently utilized, although there were constraints to its effective utilization. The study therefore recommended that the government and private organizations should partner with the technical colleges in order to address these constraints
