This studys primary goal was to assess the objectives, admission requirements, graduation requirements 

and curriculum content of the Postgraduate Business Education Program (PBEP) in universities in 

Northern Nigeria.The research design adopted was a descriptive survey design. The area of the study was 

the Northern Nigeria. The population of this study consisted of 4 Heads of Departments (HOD) from 

the departments housing the PBEP and 60 Business education lecturers, in the four universities offering 

PBEP in Northern Nigeria as of the 2020/2021 academic session. The total population was used as the 

sample. The instrument for data collection was a structured questionnaire, the questionnaire is called 

“Postgraduate Business Education Programme Evaluation Questionnaire (P-BEPEQ)”. All the 

questionnaire items were measured using a 5-point rating scale. The instrument was validated by five 

experts. The Reliability was determined using Cronbach’s alpha, the reliability co-efficient was found to 

be 0.76 for objectives, 0.78 for admission requirement 0.70 for graduation requirement and 0.74 

curriculum content. The method of data analysis involved descriptive statics of mean and standard 

deviation.The decision rule implies that any mean score above the average score of 3.0 is accepted and 

below the average score of 3.0 is rejected. The study found that the program provides updates on the 

teaching skills of serving lectuers, The PBEP equip the students with the abilities for further studies in 

their careers in business education. The study recommends among others enhancing digital abilities in 

university PBEP programs, implementing aptitude tests for admissions, improving PhD thesis defence
